Today was launch day. All the hard work of everyone over the winter comes done to today. Julie, Dave and I are at the Yard, and Brian the head yard tech was maning the travel lift. She went into the water without a problem, and about two hours later we were off. Dave was on board with me while Julie drove down to meet us at the new slip in the Manasquan Inlet. Day was bright and sunny, but we had a 25 knot wind from the west. What a wierd sight it is to see the waves coming out from the beach!! We motored down in a 3-5 foot chop, which she took like a champ. Everything ran fine, and we arrived at the new slip without a problem. It was really nice to be able to back into the new slip without a 6 knot current running under the boat.
